Crow Wing Chain Lakes The Crow Wing River rises in a chain of 10 lakes in southern Hubbard County, then flows southeast about 90 miles before joining the Mississippi River. A wing-shaped island at its mouth accounts for the river's name. Although the river is seldom more than three feet deep, it is nearly always deep enough for canoeing. Because of its many campsites and undeveloped shores, the Crow Wing River is one of the state's best "wilderness" routes for canoeists Big Timber Lodge is on the shores of the 3rd Crow Wing Lake with river access to 3 other lakes (1, 2 & 4) in the chain. The lake is located in southeastern Hubbard County, just eight miles east of the town of Hubbard. Round Bay Resort is located on the Third Crow Wing Lake and is noted for it's great fishing on its 646 acres. You are able to fish First, Second, and Fourth Crow Wing Lakes from our resort via the Crow Wing River. Pleasant Ridge Resort is located on the Second Crow Wing Lake and is one of 11 lakes of the famous Crow Wing Chain of Lakes. Fishing is great on the lower Crow Wing Lakes - filled with walleye, northern pike, large mouth bass, blue gill & crappie. From our resort you can travel by boat to the 1st, 3rd & 4th Crow Wing Lakes Camp Liberty Resort on the west side of 8th Crow Wing Lake, in northern Minnesota. Fisherman can also enjoy fishing 9th and 10th Crow Wing Lakes, accessible by boat through short and scenic passages. Sorry, this search did not match any listings at this time. |
