HOW TO SELL YOUR HOME / CABIN IN TODAY'S MARKET

1.  HIRE THE RIGHT REALTOR
Choose a Realtor that has your best interest in mind. Make sure they are experienced in selling real estate, they are readily available for showings, they know how to advertise and market property, and they are someone you trust!

2.  PRICE YOUR PROPERTY CORRECTLY
If you price your property correctly, you will have more buyers touring your home / cabin. A correct price will also ensure a quicker sale which will allow you to move on to your next phase in life.

3.  POSITIVE FIRST IMPRESSIONS
You need to impress the buyer when they first pull into the driveway. Have the yard mowed, garbage picked up and all tools and toys put away. If a buyer is not pleased by the appeal of the exterior of a home and yard, they will simply tell the Realtor "I've seen enough" and not even look inside the home.

4.  OFFER A CLEAN HOUSE
You will need to impress the buyer a second time and that's when they walk into your home / cabin. Maker sure the home / cabin is clean, carpets vacuumed, rooms picked up, beds made, and all counter tops cleaned and free of clutter. Make sure you leave for all showings and open all curtains, drapes and blinds for day showings and turn on all lights for evening showings and by all means, don't smoke in the house / cabin!

5.  ADVERTISING AND MARKETING YOUR PROPERTY
Ask the agent, the one you're going to hire, how they are going to advertise and market your property. The more potential buyers that see your property advertised, the quicker it will sell, if it's priced correct.
